Myth 1: I’m only in my 20s or 30s so I don’t need laser treatments.
Fact: According to Dr Dana Elliott, doing a laser treatment is similar to giving your skin a work out, which keeps it in peak condition. It is better to prevent than cure. So, if you start your treatments now, your face will retain its youthfulness 10 years or more down the road.
Myth 2: Laser treatments are addictive.
Fact: You can stop your treatments anytime. However, once you see how effective they are, it will definitely be difficult to go back to regular facials!
Myth 3: You can never expose your skin to the sun again after laser treatments.
Fact: It’s best to use a sunscreen of at least SPF 30 to maintain your new youthful skin if you want to go out in the sun. With the increase in global warming, you should be wearing sunscreen when you are outdoors – even if you have never had treatments!

I have never been a particular fan of Michael Jackson’s music
, only really liking a handful of his songs, but I have always admired his showmanship and ability to continue producing more music, in spite of his troubled private life.
Hearing the news of his untimely death was a shock to everybody. Anybody under the age of 45 has grown up with his music which has covered 4 decades! Love or hate his music, everybody has heard it and you can only admire his musical talent and stamina for producing so much.
As I was watching footage of his extraordinary life from child phenomenon to the King of Pop, I cannot help feeling sad that his life cannot have been a happy one.

For many of us, we go through most of our lives paying minimal attention to our skin. Sure, we moisturize and hopefully use our SPF30 on a regular basis but pamperingour skin on a daily basis is not practical for most people.
Then one day we wake up and notice that the face we’ve paid little attention to over the years has just started looking a little worn. We might begin to see a few morenoticeable lines or we might look a little tired with bags under our eyes. Our eyelids may look a bit droopier and our cheeks might sag a little more than they use to.
Ten to twenty years ago there weren’t many options to droopy, saggy, wrinkled skin but today we have lots of them and cosmetic surgery is looming to the top of the list as one of the most popular remedies around.

In the old days, if anyone wanted to change his physical appearance, unless it was weight loss, there was very little that he could actually do. Nowadays, thanks to medical technology, people who know that their self esteem would be much improved if they could change their physical appearance, have more options. One of the most popular options is “Plastic Surgery or Cosmetic Surgery”. Plastic surgery or cosmetic surgery has got much attention over the years. Plastic surgery is a term used for operative manual or instrumental treatment. This surgery is performed for functional or aesthetic reasons.
Plastic surgery affects people on the physical and psychological level. We make ourselves more physically beautiful with clothes, hairstyles, and cosmetics; plastic surgery, or changing features of the body to make it more appealing is taking it to the next level. People want attention; they want to be looked at and want to leave impressions. However, the most memorable features are those that are either beautiful or ugly, and not the ones in between. Given this dichotomy of memory, people would rather be remembered as beautiful rather than ugly. Plastic surgery is one option for those who feel that they are somehow unattractive, and is a way to correct that.

Breast implant failure is one of the problems that can develop after your breast implants have been placed. Breast augmentation is commonly considered a relatively safe operation. However the implants used are simply not indestructible and can fail over a period of time. What are the main causes and how can you avoid this? Saline and silicone breast implants fail in different ways so you should consider the difference between the two before making your final implant selection.
Eventually all implants may simply wear out over time and develop a hole in the outer shell, causing a leak. It naturally happens over time as a result of the motion within the implant wall. A tear may develop in the outer shell due to the pressure of the implant contents due to your natural motion. Many advancements have occurred in the manufacturing of implants increasing the durability, but they are still not indestructible.

Many women, after giving birth, feel they’ll never be the same again. Their abdominal muscles and breasts in particular have been stretched and changed in ways that seem beyond recovery. No matter how much dieting and exercise they manage to work into hectic, post-baby schedules, it seems there are still sagging, bagging bits that refuse to go away.
Truthfully, pregnancy is very hard on a woman’s body. The rapid expansion of the abdomen, and the almost as dramatic enlargement of the breasts, pulls skin into shapes it’s never held before. The abdominal muscles are also stretched so much that often the fascia, or supportive tissue, separates in a way that can’t be remedied by diet and exercise alone.

There are many ways that you can treat wrinkles and fine lines in your face. You can treat them many different ways from using anti-wrinkle creams to laser surgery.
Laser surgery is part of plastic surgery that will reduce the appearance and remove some of the wrinkles that are on the skin.
Laser surgery will work best on minor wrinkles such as crow’s feet, frown lines and small creases in your face. It will even work well on skin that has sun damaged and scars from chickenpox and acne scars. The surgery will resurface your face – removing the top layer of damaged skin and allowing the new fresh younger looking skin to emerge. This will create the production of collagen and may take several sessions to complete the process. This surgery isn’t permanent and you may have to have more treatments as you age.

Face-lifting is a fairly latest progress in the filed of medical or cosmetic surgery. In the ancient times, ear and nose renewal were performed in the same manner but not given with the name of cosmetic surgery. Also, in the time of late sixteenth centuries, eyelid uplifting was introduced. Breast uplifts and reductions were also initiated about the time of nineteenth century. However, the technique of facelift has been introduced and gets implemented in the early 20th century. This technique of face-lifting is revolutionizing the world of cosmetic surgery and meeting up all the desires of looking smart and younger.
Lifting of Superficial Muscloaponeurotic System (SMAS):
In the mid 1970’s, the only technique used for facelift is the lifting of underlying muscle tissues, named as Superficial Muscloaponeurotic System (SMAS). Lifting of these tissues is proved as the best to provide effective outputs. The results achieved by high skilled doctors by repositioning of the SMAS tissues were just amazing, because they permitted the doctors to revive the looks of face as well as in tightening the skin. Efforts put in this technique come with the number of effective outputs and also these effects were long lasting because the SMAS has more structural integrity as compare to the skin.
